Default kenne bell?

I've been reading a lot on kenne bells lately and think that if I'm going F/I, that they are definetly going to be the route....

I'm looking at non-intercooled so under 9psi....what type of horsepower do you think i'll be pushing if I go with 7 or 8 psi.....(mac catback + prochamber with VT cams stage II's installed as well)

I shouldnt need to replace any of the internals to forged just yet would I?

Stage 2 cams are a bit much for your stock block simply because you just aren't going to rotate fast enough to reach their full potential. With the KB and a few other mods you should be just about at your limit on power for the stock block, it's just the fact that the stage 2s will be a waste. If you're willing to put down the money for a KB I'd look into beefing up the bottom end too, otherwise just stick with stage 1 cams.

first off go INTERCOOLED. dont put the extra strain on the engine. second off a blower cam would benefit you more than a n/a cam. a KB is a good choice but IMOits way overpriced when in a race the centri blower wins hands down

Default RE: kenne bell?

to address both responses....i shoulda gone more in depth....i know the stock bottom end isnt gonna rev high enough for stage IIs to benifit fully....but the only blower cams i've seen or heard of were stage IIs.....i might be wrong...but the place I was going to get the work done has (all VT) N/A Stage I....N/A Stage II....and Blower Stage II....for 2v 4.6's anyway...talk about 4vs and they have a lot more options...

at any rate I figured I'd save save save and try and get the cams/blower done at the same time... and either way, thanks for the opinion but I'm definetly going KB over roots style...just on what I've read and what I've seen, I like the KB better...personal preference I guess....

and much further in the future I would like to do a fully forged motor and maybe intercool it and run it at 10+ psi....but for now this is my daily driver, so until i'm able to make it a fully dedicated track car, I dont think i'm going to boost the hell out of it haha...

I was just kinda wondering where I'd be at around 7-8 psi horsepower wise....340? 350?

anyone with a KB to compare to?

Oh, I'm not used to dealing with blowers so I wasn't thinking about blower cams so I actually can't provide much feedback about that for ya, sorry. [8D]
