Default detonation

i am getting detonation at high rpms during WOT. and i was wondering if i could hurt anything by messing with the timing on my tune. i drive a 2001 mustang with a vortech s/c and aftercooler, forged pistons and rods and its running on a dyno tune. if i can solve the detonation with timing adjustment how much should i advance or retard it? thanks

Dont fck with it. You will end up blowin a head gasket if you keep detonating that motor. Go have it re-tuned. a/f ratio is probubly screwed up and your runnin lean.
