05 rx-8 6 speed manual

They have like 15 more hp than i do but only have like 160 ft pd of torque

I have a stock 1997 GT Vert and was able to beat my friend not by much more than a car but he told me that he was shifting at 7.5K when he should shift at 10 becuase its his mom's car lol

so if he drove it the way he should would he be able to beat me?
o and its not that he is a bad driver he races his car all the time

I just beat an RX-8 in my winter car (94 gt vert..5-speed)
Race from a dig and you should win, but from a highway roll they can move

i've got a stock 02 gt and i murdered one from a redlight, twice. So go from a dig and it will work out for you.

torque you beat him by far, youve got almost 90 pounds on him.... but remember his car is a high rev engine, if you guys take this to high speeds and he knows his powerband could end up drivers race but in a 1/4 you SHOULD have him...

you will kill him from a light, and i dont think you would have any problem beating him from a roll either

2 of my friends, one with a 04 GT and one with a RX-8. They raced rolling about 40mph and the RX-8 beat him by about acar length. but....my friend with the 04 GT had his wife, grandmother and 2 kids in the car, if he didn't have the extra 350 poundsin the car, he should have beaten him.

I though the RX-8's were capable of mid to high 14's on a good launch?

that seems more than enough to beat a stock GT that wasnt a New Edge ....
