the p1sc and s trim are about equal... the p1 has a nice whine to it, but the v2 makes just as much power. Price sold me.. the vortech is considerably less and just as good... there are alot of v2's in the middle 11's on stock motors... same for p1sc just get what you like, cant go wrong with either

I went with procharger. The main selling points for me were the self contained head unit and the intercooler that comes with the standard tuner kit. The procharger kit got pretty expensive for me with different upgrades I opted for such as polished head unit, powerpipe, etc. I also bought a 75mm t/b and plenum with the kit too, so that added to the price also. I have a couple of friends with vortechs and they are very nice too. But the base vortech kit doesn't come with an inter/aftercooler. That option ups the price too. It's all about what you want in this case, both products are comparable to eachother.

+1 on self-contained and intercooled.

i believe the vortech generates less heat at comparable hp levels. thus why procharger comes intercooled...always. having said that...procharger is still a great brand. but so is vortech. my advice would definitely be to go with whatever system u can get a better deal on.

why will the procharger "blow way past" the vortech v2-sq?

only reason i said procharger was it's better bang for the buck. the price of a complete procharger kit + intercooler is only a little bit more than a non-cooled vortech.

i like the fact that you only have to do a 5 minute tap job into your oil pan and then whenever you change your vehicle's oil, you change your blower oil.
