An all season tire is not really going to perform good in the winter for obvious reasons,I mean yeah you can drive but how much control are you going to have yeah know and if you say you get a lot of snow it probably wouldnt be the way I would go. What does your dad run for tires. If its works I would go with what he is using and lots of weight in the back of your stang. just my .02

Trust me, do yourself a favor and get a set of snow tires. Either a set to fit your current rims or a set of v6 or steelies that you swap out every season (or just when it snows), but either way you go, get some snow tires. I went several years trying to get by with several all season 245/45/17 tires on my stock rims and they still did horrible in the snow. After 5 years of fighting it, I finally bought a set of 245/45/17 Blizzaks for my stock rims and it was night and day difference. I was finally able to drive confidently in the snow. This isjust my $0.02.

Khumo Escta ASX's are awesome. They got me through a rough colorado winter last year. Never got stuck once. But i heard those blizzaks are the best. But use them as winter tires and dont burn them up in the summer becuase they are VERY sticky
