Stroker
Hmmm . . . VT sell the complete forged stroker 5.1 short block (bottom half of the engine) for $3995. Thats not too bad if you ask me. . . . A lot cheaper than i thought. Well my car has 100k on it so maybe at 150k or so ill rip that bottom end out of there and get a stroker and throw a 150 shot or a vortech or the like. . .

RE: Stroker
I already am doing Patriot stage 2 heads, VT stage 2 cams, PP typhoon manifold. So i have the top end already done. When the time comes ill just do the bottom end and hopefully i can get a good healthy 320 to 330 hp out of it.

Yeah . . im thinking about a B&M auto when i do the motor swap. No way my POS T-45 is going to hold up to the 500ish rwhp id probably get from FI and N20.
lol, ok? Get the forged shortblock, stroked or not is up to you.
How much is a 5.1 shortblock vs. a 4.6 shortblock?

RE: Stroker
Mine is full forged 5.1L stroker. I paid $2000 for the internals, $175 balancing, $150 bore .020 over and block cleared for the stroker kit and $150 assembely. Thats $2475 for a stroked shortblock that is balanced with the flywheel and balancer. You wont get that by ordering a shortblock.
