I'm considering getting an off road h pipe, but being as how I live in $hity Southern California I'm concerned that with my Flowmaster catback it'll be too loud. I'm just worried about how much of the wrong kind of attention I might attract. As most of you will know, making any changes to the cats Cal is illegal, any thoughts or experiences?

Too loud IMO is SLP LM1's with an off road X-pipe and LT's. I saw someone that had that and that was too much for me. You should be fine.

the cops in L.A. are gonna nail your ***, whether it's because you sound loud, or because you're in a car that is popular amongst the youths. so if you are feeling really lucky, go ahead and combine the two. not worth it with the way cops are in socal, imo.

My setup is lm1's and or/x.. now that is LOUD!! I suggest you get a catted midpipe.

if a cop can hear you from 2 miles away, or only 1, it really doesn't matter at that point, you've already drawn 100% of their attention. [:@]

i have o/r, longtube headers, lm2's and im changing the exhaust and to make it quieter. changing to bassani.

i got o/r h and flow catback....yahh...its purty loud. I wouldnt do in cali. Just get a catted-x/h and be happy
