if i bought a shift kit, raised my shift pressure up in my sct, would it be too hard on my car? I have a b&m tranny cooler....but why is it so small?

Maybe someone else could chime in here and say if this holds true for computer controlled "shift-kits", but harder shifting and higher transmission pressure is a good thing in several ways:
It causes less wear on the transmission due to less friction, less heat, and maybe a small increase gas mileage.

Tranny coolers don't need to be huge. If you're worried, invest in a tranny temp gauge. Make sure it stays cooler than the engine....< 150*F is best. With a shift kit and boosted pressures, you'll want to watch it closely.
FYI, make sure your external lines are in good shape as well, especially with aftermarket/soft lines. Mine blew off tonight on my way home. Nothing like synthetic red goo all over the engine compartment...when it's 15*F outside and dark. Not to mention how much money that was...

I'm not sure if it'd hurt the transmission bad, but like the 2 previous people said you'd have to watch it closely. Is it your daily driver? I would think that a shift kit would be enough just for that if you aren't doing any serious track racing.
