wont even cost ya 6 bucks. I used a 1/2' od copper pipe end and drilled a hole in it. i think like a 1/4' drill bit. Works just fine no problems and now the rpms dont take for ever to come down.

I think its a mustang thing too. I'm NA and mine does that, just kinda slow even from like 2500 rpm. it'll go down to 1000 slow, then finally get down to 800 or so.

I had an idle problem like that and then I put a new gasket on my TB and now it's fine. But I have heard about the EGR problem.

There is actually a mod you can do to change this. Its just a piece of gasket that reduces the idle air flow... I seen it on ebay one time, it looks like you could make one really easy from gasket material. I can't find the link right now though....

Anyone have any pics or links to write-ups that are more specific to where the gasket goes, what it looks like, the pipe mod...etc...? Also, would this "mod" be something that could effect emmisions, or make the engine operate wierd under load?

YES THIS IS THE ANSWER!!! It cost me $6 and it's an actual MR. Gasket material. My R's used to hang and **** me off, they drop much fatser with this. Also you can do something electronically to have the R's drop like a rock, but I don't remember what you have to do?
