Port and Polish Question Take 2

RE: Port and Polish Question Take 2
While we are on the subject of what intake setup I should get. What do you guys think of getting a stock bullitt setup. I can get the aluminum manifold, plenum, and TB for about the same price as the Accufab setup from my friend. Is the stock bullittintake setupbetter or worse that the Accufab setup with the stock plastic manifold. Ether way I will be going with aK&N fipk or JLT Short Air Ram for the air intake. Also if I go with the Bullitt what other parts do I need to finish the install?? I was told I needed a bullitt alternator bracket and new alternator. Is this true???

dont get me wrong, i may be wrong. I thought the bullit intake had a different style throttle body? I dont think an accufab will fit, I think its one of those dual stator blade styles. I could be way wrong but I just recall bullits having that setup

Personally I think your waisting your money. You don't need a bigger TB or ported plenum. Maybe after you get a blower or cams. IMO people waist money on these little rinky dink bolt on's and still end up with a slow car. Buy that torque conveter and work on the suspension, you won't be dissapointed (unless you cheap out on the converter or buy one with too low of a stall). Then buy the cams, then maybe you need a bigger TB etc.

I agree 79targa. Porting the TB can only do so much. However, porting the plenum should yield much more flow over stock and even aftermarket.
silver03gt Why the C&L and not the Accufab??

RE: Port and Polish Question Take 2
So should I go with the Bullitt setup or just mod my stock GT?? Right now I can either go with the above pic setup or get an Accufab TB/Plenum for my stock GT intake. Either way I will be installing a K&N FIPK or JLT Ram Air Intake and Steeda under drive pulleys. What do you guy's think????
