Default Port and Polish Question Take 2

Hi:
Does anyone have any experience with Jerry's Ported and Polished70mm TB&Plenum setups??? I have seen his P&P TB/Plenum's on eBay. He clams 23HP & 21ft-lbs torque over stock. That is huge gains and even beats out a70mm or 75mmAccufab setup. So my question is this, does P&P really make that much of a difference and if so is Jerry the guy to go with??

Thanks Guys: Fantor

jerry sounds like every other vendor out there.... take what ever gains the company advertises, then multiply by 1/3 or divide by 3 then subtract a few (1-3) and you will get a rough estimate of the Actual gains.

IMO all the TB and Plenum combos give the same gains...

same here. or the difference in gains are so small its negligable. you wont get two exactly same dyno runs so the difference between the gains isnt worth spending more money for. get what looks good under the hood. also get a larger one if you want to use forced induction later

post a link, i know its bs but i want to look.
as far as power...don't expect more then 5rwhp from any tb/plenum combo...there has been a few real world tests done to prove it.

OK here's the eBay link to one of Jerry's 70mm TB/Plenum combos.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=160072399475

Here is a 70mm TB buy it's self.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...;rd=1&rd=1

As you can see the workmanship looks very good.

Now here's my problem or should I say choice. Jerry's combo price is $185.00 + $15.00 shipping making it a $200.00 setup. I can get from my friend an Accufab 70mm TB&Plenum w/ spacers for $225.00. Do I go with the locale favorite and get the Accufab setup or save $25.00 and go with Jerry's. Or..... a third choice. Get the 70mm P&P TB for $140.00 from jerry, and a C&L Plenum from my friend for $50.00 for a total of $190.00 and save another $10.00.
What do you guy's think????

Thank you: Fantor

Between all of those, get the accufab for the little extra cash no question. At least it will have some resale value should you decide to part with it. Personally I would stay away from "Jerrys" stuff.

I'd take that Accufab deal in a heartbeat!
Jerry is overpriced for ported stock plenum.
