Default Installing Subwoofer

anybody here install just a sub and amp onto their mach system? i am looking into doing it and found the how-to at MustangWorld . com but am not exactly sure on some of the things that it says. I have no clue how to tell if an amplifier has signal sense. any help is greatly appreciated.

i followed the one on mustangworld, you basicaly have to get a line out converter(got mine from ebay) and splice it into the amp data cable. works great for me, sub hits hard. too bad its a ****ty handmedown 10in with a worthless amp.

Cool thanks! What about the signal sense thing they were talking about? did you route a remote lead to the fuse box or did you not need it?
