So theres this kid around the neigbor hood who got a srt4 and he thinks he is the ****. I asked him to race me and he said there was no point he would win. So ive been bitching at his friends telling them to talk him into it. His mods are new intercooler hard pipes, bov, wastgate, intake, full 3inch from turbo. My question is u guys think i can take him? i heard them little things are rockets so i wanted to check before i do anymore **** talking.

you're screwed but id say your best chance is from a dig

So with his mods he's about 20hp over stock. Run him from a dig and make sure you hook up. They can be made fast but try launching a fwd with 230=hp&tq. From a roll it might be a differant story, i raced one in my 02gt from a roll with two pass. and we stayed even to about 80. Just go from a dig and you'll be o.k

A dig maybe....a roll (which is gay anyway) and you will be straight waxed.

he said a race people. I don't consider it a race unless its from a dig. So you should take him if you can hook.

I argee, but alot of srt4 guys like "racing" from a 30-40 roll, when their turbo is fully spooled and ready to mop the floor with a mustang gt. And if you can hook, mayby you can take him up to about 70, but then be prepared to see the srt walking past you.

srt-4s are not that fast... the mid range is where they roll.. so from a dig or from a higher roll, you should take him
