With that many miles on your car, I'd be worried about making sure your motor is in good shape before boosting it to 400+rwhp. I would look for a used pi motor...

Fuel, it looks like it's been taken care of by the pic in your sig. Very nice. I think it would be tough to see 400 hp at the wheels with that blower on a non-pi motor but I wouldn't rule out 325-350 with the right pulley and supporting boltons(an intercooler/heat exchanger would be a good investment for HP as well). But if you slowly rebuild with PI stuff and add more boost gradually as you feel comfortable I think it would be definately within reach. The rings and bearings would definately be a must at the very least.

This is your anwser right here. Dump the NPI motor for an newer PI motor. The newer PI motor will have lower compression then a NPI short block with PI heads, making it much more boost friendly. You can rebuild the motor at your leisure and toss the thing in there after you are all ready with everything.

Honestly, I think you just have too much time put on that engine to start adding boost right now. If you want to work towards a full rebuild, then do that FIRST and the supercharger late. I understand you want the fun now and not just spending money, but I don't think re-ringing it is sufficient enough to allow a 200k motor to run boost with no problem.

I'd get a built motor first.

the motor has 200k miles on it, 200,000 miles! thats alot, and its a ford. not bashing but fords are not knownto have long lasting engines. the motor might look all nice and clean on the outside, but i am willing to bet it is pretty worn down on the inside.
