Just wondering for anyone that has a tubular k and long tubes, Does the k member make it alot easier to install the headers. If so, do you still have to lift the engine to get them in or not. If im gonna do long tubes i may as well do this at the same time to make it easier if i have to take them back off.Thanks for any help.

When I installed my LT's I lifted the motor slightly on the passenger side otherwise I got them in but here is a pic of mysetup The k member did make it easier though

Yes it is very easy. When I pulled my engine I was able to remove the LTs in 30 min.

with stock its takin me 10+ hours just to get the damn things in there

No I defiantly recommend a tubular K-member to anyone who is trying to do long tube headers. I makes a world of difference.
