Default Poor fit with Mac catted h pipe

My son's a mechanic at Meineke Mufflers, and he just called to say the Mac catted h-pipe I ordered is such a poor fit overall (alignment, rubbing with underside components) that he's sending it back and wants me to order something else. Has anyone else had fitment problems with the Mac h-pipe?

John

I think he must have gotten one of the pipes backwards or the pipe was for the wrong car or it was bent or something becuase they are designed specifically for our cars. If they didn't fit then they couldn't sell them. Mine fit just fine, granted I have an uncatted prochamber, but it's still the same manufacterer.

I agree, My pro chamber went in smooth, no fitment issues at all. Maybe it was damaged in shipping or something, but I was very satisfied with the fit and finish of my Mac product

My Mac o/r H pipe sucked.

Welds were fubar, didn't seal well. It was a PITA fixing all the leaks, everything had to be re-welded. I wouldn't be surprised. Nothing a little bending couldn't fix?

my mac o/r h and my mac catted h fit perfect, only problem was the stupid gasket they sent sucked. for the two piece catted h, you just gotta pound the two parts together really good after you have them bolted to the headers, worked for me.
