+1 on the Flows or MAC.

But it's all just personal preference. In my opinion, Flows sound the best. Especially with an O/R H-Pipe or procamber. Mac is right there behind it. Some agree, some will disagree. Mustangexhaust.com is a good place to start. Or try our sound clip section. Anyone want to post a link to the sound clip section for him?.. I can't find it..[&:]...

Personally i hate sound clips because they never seem to truly represent the quality of the exhaust. Find people in your area with different set ups and listen to them. You hear someone drive by or on the road with you and you like it, stop and ask them. I love my bassani setup with catted x and cat back. I think i would have liked the borla exhaust as well. If i wouldn't have caught deals on my exhaust, i probably wouldn't have gotten it, can't lie. But boy am i happy i did. No mustang around my area sounds like my car, so far as i have heard.

ORIGINAL: laserred38

Bassani +2...best combo of refinement and old school muscle IMO...and i really think LM1s only belong on Bullitts because the car in the movie actually really sounds like the the SLPs
Yep, bassani sounds amazing. Go with the bx if you're tight on cash, or look around for a used system. I know there were a couple for sale on modularfords.com

Some clips to consider in your purchase. Listen to these and anyone that has a mustang with aftermarket exhaust if you can before you make your purchase to decide what you like best. Enjoy

I know what im asking is very "opinion based" but I brought my car in for an oil change and they told me something was wrong with my exhaust, and I said its an 04 what could be wrong? and they said it was "to quiet".and I told them i know butI have been waiting for some money toroll in so I can get a better exhuast, and since im getting back more than I thought for taxes i figured now is the time. So basicly im just trying to get ideas

I have Flowmasters on mine. I love them to death; it sounds really good, in my opinion. But I was able to obtain them for free, as my father is the manager of an automotive shop, so I didn't even really look for anything else.

My dad also has Flows on his 2001 Chevy Silverado, and it sounds great. So in my experience, Flows are great.
