I got magnapacks... they sound very low and bassy, the drone isn't bad (I like it) and when they break in after a couple of hundred miles they'll sound like this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHuS7MMsi-c

My 04 already had an o/r H-pipe with a Mac cat back with the stock manifolds when i bought it. I love this setup it has a very deep powerful sound. I've already had a lot of compliments on how it sounds and I get a lot of looks when drivin around towneven my friends who r big chevy fans say they love the way my car soundswith this setup.

I went with magnaflow magnapacks on my 02 vert. I have stock mids and headers, and it sounds freakin amazing! After the pipes warm up for about 15min, it is incredible...you wont be disappointed! I found them on ebay for about $375 shipped...definitely the best sound you can on stock heads/mids imo.

The sound is very deep and agressive, never sounding raspy at all. I've had MANY compliments on it, including my favorite when a 60 year old man provoked me to rev it up at mcdonalds, then proceeded to get out of his car to come say that sounds great! What do you have?

I was actually looking at the magnaflow magnapacks on ebay and I got a sound clip and sounded really good. And the price is really good to.

+1 for Flowmasters with an o/r h pipe. I bought mine w/ the current setup, so I'm not sure of the specifics, I know I've got Flowmaster mufflers and there are no cats at all, I'm just not sure what they did to eliminate them exactly. It sounds exactly like the clip hotrod9787 posted though. I get compliments constantly, and after a year and a half w/ this setup, I still smile every time I start my car or get on it in traffic. Flows ftw.

Whatever you do, dont get an O/R x-pipe with magnaflow chambered muffs. It sounds annoying. I bought my car with that system on it and i honestly dont like it. I drive with open x-pipe most of the time, it sounds better than the magnaflows. If you're going to get a chambered muffler, get an H-pipe.
