Default Best sounding exhaust

I have about $400-$500 to spend on a new exhaust for my 2004 Mustang GT and I need some feedback on different types to help me decide.

thanx

"Best sounding" is totally subjective, only you can decide that. Go to www.mustangexhaust.com and check out the different clips. If you want an exhaust that's fairly tame and not that loud check out the regular Magnaflow catback, or the Dynomax Ultra Flos. If you want LOUD check out the Borla Stingers, Magnaflow Magnapacks, and SLP Loudmouths. If you like chambered muffler sound go with Flowmaster.

Tough question.. that has been asked a thousand times.
online sound clips can only tell you so much.
The best way to decide is to attend a mustang club meeting or show, and listen to the real thing...
everyone has different tastes...

i have one chamber flow masters on my 99 cobra and they are very nice, but i think that Quicktime_GT has the best sounding flowmaster setup ever, search his name look at his sig and listen to the clips, they are wicked.

SLP Loudmouth II's aren't obnoxiously loud, and are very deep. I have them with a stock mid pipe, and I love them. I heard another Mustang a week ago with flowmasters and some sort of catted X pipe (couldnt tell which) and it didnt sound as loud as mine. But videos do no exhaust justice, and they will always sound a little different and better in person. There is also an exhaust clip post on this forum.

Bassani +2...best combo of refinement and old school muscle IMO...and i really think LM1s only belong on Bullitts because the car in the movie actually really sounds like the the SLPs
