cobra brake upgrade
 

Im trying to buy a cobra brake upgrade for myGT but everywhereI look online the calipers have the words "COBRA" on the calipers. Do they come without the cobra lettering? I really dont want the cobra lettering and I dont want to paint over it. Thanks.

you can get the bullitt calipers which are the same as the cobras. they are red with a silver pony

so the bullitt are the same as the cobras...cool ok. i'll take the horse on the caliper instead of cobra. thanks alot.

The Mach I Brake package is the same as COBRA - just black calipers with NO lettering!;)

The good news is that there ARE choices!:D
The red calipers were just a little too blingy for my tastes on a White/Black car. Might be OK on his red car though.

why didnt you go with saleens big brake kit? i have them on my saleen and they look great

the mach 1's are a little too plain. i like the red on the bullitt and cobra brakes...im tired of looking at my painted red stock brakes. i just finished ordering the kit. thanks for your help guys.

my saleen is yellow and black so they look great. i wish i could get a real pic but ive misplaced my camera cable.

I looked at the Saleen/Brembo setup, but for my intended use the Cobra/Bullitt/Mach setup works just fine. My car is 98% street with an occasional AutoX/dragstrip trip. They wouldn't let me opentrack (convertible) without a rollbar (ain't happening!), so the Saleen/brembo stuff would've been overkill...

Plus I did both front & rear brakes complete for about 1/2 the $$ of just the Saleen front setup.
