so this guy and I are always always competing. whether it be our cars or boats or anything. Well long story short we are supposed to go to the track when it opens in a week, but he calls me today to say that we cant go for about three weeks cuz his car is goin in the shop to get his blower on. so i dont stand as chance the way are cars stand. he drives a 2005 gt with just a catback. I drive a 2001 cobra 5sp with shifter, cat-back, o/r h, and intake. so if he is strapping on a s/c what are my options for beating him. could i do it with a 100 shot of juice? or should i spend the cash and get a mongoose kit i have wanted? absolute max i can spend is 5,000, including install and tune. so whats it gonna take?

Mongoose for sure. More HP and it comes with the tune. You'll even have a little left over I think.

Yeh i don't knowif 100 shot could pull it off, plus i ain't into the nos ****....the s/c is def the better call

The nitrous route (assuming you went the 100 shot) would work, more than likely. It'd make it a drivers race. In the long the run the supercharger is a much better call and as I said earlier, more power.

there is a kit that comes with a tune? so i wouldnt have to have it dyno tuned? cuz i wouldnt mind installing it myself but i was just figuring that if it had to be tuned somewhere i would just let them install it. for under 5k? let me kno where i can order that from please.
