Hand-Held Tuner...

hey guys. im going to buy a handheld tuner, and was wondering which one would be the most efficient. not the most expensive or the most popular. the one that will work best witha 98 mustang gt. let me know about your experiences.

thanks!!

I think diablo would be the best bet for you if you just want to play around with it and use it yourself it will allow you to data log clear codes read codes adjust timing etc, so its fun to play around with. If your planning to bring it to a tuner and have them do a whole bunch of stuff to your car I would suggest the sct xcal2 it is to my knowledge the most popular and also what I run for my Stang.

See what your local tuner where you want to get the stuff done uses that will be the biggest influence on your decision. I have a personal liking for the xcal2.

The SCT Xcal IIwas my preference after the swap. No real need for a tuner until you do the swap

I have the SCT but there is no need unless you do some real mods and get it dyno tuned or if you get gears.
