TRANNY HELP

my car has trouble goin into 5th. it goes through the other gears perfectly but 5th is another story. the car car has to be at 45 -50 mph or it wont go in at all, but its still hard to get in 5th. sometimes it'll go in but then slip out. sometimes it wont go in at all and makes a grinding noise. can any of yall help me out.

btw, i know how to drive. just wanted to say that b4 someone tries to make jokes. thanks guys.

I had the same problem except my tranny didnt grind. After about a month it was fine, kinda sorted itself out. But mine was after a night at the track with about 8 runs in....

Isnt this a common problem with these cars. Mine was all re built when the car was about 3 years old with about20K on it
