Most of them saw a movie and think that a civic is a super car. The first one to mess with me afteri got my gt was a 3000gt non turbo. I lit his *** up for 5 mile untill he gave up. I love V8s.

I like the GT emblems better. You can't tell the 40th from the 35th, or GT from 6 banger...

I have an 04 and I like the GT fenderemblem better cuz it matches the trunk lid GT emblem. the 40th one just looks outta place in my opinion.

yea i've seen a couple new edges running around with the 05 GT emblem...looks really good...just make sure you get one for the rear decklid too

does the side fenders leave a hole when you take the badges off? how about the rear decklid? isnt the rear one just stuck on and the fenders have glue and leave a hole?

There is some easy differences if your around them long enough. 35th badges are more shinny and metal looking and alot flatter. 40th badges look like brushed aluminum with a pony that shines like the grill. Not to mention the 3D look instead of the flat.

I know for certain that the fenders on an 04 have a guide hole to help line up the badge perfect. When I first bought my car from the tent sale, the pass. side 40th badge had the pony tail chipped off at the end, so I took it to Ford and bought a brand new one put on that day. Personally I love that, since I love badges on cars, its great for people like me who may need to replace a badge but are worried they will line it up wrong or not exactaly in the right spot. For people who dont like badges it means filling and paint, sux for them.

yea im kinda for the gt badge. I like the 40th badge...just doesnt look that good on the car to me

Yea, I realize that you can tell the difference up close. The difference for me is when one is driving by. I like to look at all of the subtle features of stangs, and don't like having to spend a lot of time identifying if it's even a GT.
