Seats: Cobra vs. GT
 

Hey all-
I am just trying to find out the difference between the two. I know Cobra seats are leather with the seude insert down the middle, but I was wondering if the side bolstering is any bigger to better hold you in, or perhaps if the seats are dramatically more comfy?

i have a gt and alot of my friends have cobras the seats are more stiff and arent near as comfortable as the gt the weird thing is since they are stiffer they make it feel like you have more power then you do

The cobra seats have more side bolstering and are much nicer. GT seats are junk.

I have the cobra seats now, and I feel that was a big mistake. They hold you in the seat more, but they hurt your back after a long drive. Go with some recaros or sparcos and you'll be much happier. I wish I would have.

I agree, the cobra seats sit very nicely. I thought they were much more comfortable than the GT seats. You dont move around hardly at all in the cobra seats where in my old GT, I was all over the place in big turns... I'm not a big guy so I would slide in the GT. The suede is nice too, looks really good. Little more difficult to keep clean, but its a nice touch to the interior of mustangs.

when i got to ride/drive a 03 cobra the seats are the first thing i noticed when i got in. they keep you in and feel way better than my leather gt seats.

Cobra seats IMO are a lot better, they have many adjustable supports and hold you in the seata lot better. Are they worth the cash? No. If you can get a deal...hell yes.

Then youve never been in a cobra haha. The 03 100th anne edition GT's have the suede seats
