Default What to do 1st???

I just bought an 01 GT Convertable 5-spd. It is pretty stock except for the ever popular K&N filter, sub-frame connecters, and Flowmaster exhaust. I got a really good deal, so I have about $1500 left over from what I was gonna spend. I'm trying to think where the best place to put the money to get the most bang for my buck. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful.

Get a different gear, a off road midpipe and different cat back exhaust.

Flows sound good! Keep the Flows and get a mid pipe to wake it up. With Flows, I highly suggest the MAC prochamber or MAC O/R H-Pipe.
After the mid pipe, I'd do gears and pulleys. Pulleysare one of, if not the best bang for the buck mod.

6hp for $200?
or
100hp for $500

you must have never had nitrous before or gears because those are the 2 best bang for the buck mods.

my first mod was a catback but since you have flows... get some gears

and if you are ever gunna get a supercharger pullys are a waist of money.. supercharger is the best bolt on.

Thanks for all the ideas. I'm not sure I want to go with gears right away. I was thinking more like bolt-ons. I was looking around and I was thinking of maybe starting with some Steeda suspension parts and going from there. Starting from the wheels up!?? What do you think?

from what ive learned... i have nearly a full bolt on gt... there not worth it. if i could do it all over again i would did forged bottom end/heads/cams/gears/exhaust.... all that is probably $2000 more then what ive spent on full bolt ons + appearance items. but i would have over 300rwhp instead of what... 260ish i have now.

But ya i think your idea is good build up. Suspension, Rims, Rear End

For one, I mentioned gears [sm=chairshot.gif]. For two, the fill up on nitrous will catch up eventually. Therefore, pulleys are one of, it not the best bang for the buck mod.
