hey guys im in the process of buying an 03 cobra engine and trans and i have the vin # for the vehicle its out of and im wondering where the best sites are to check it and what some other steps i should do to get the most information about this engine. Its my first time buying anything this big over the internet and i just dont want to get scammed so all suggestions woud be greatly appreciated. thanks guys, Jim

if i call ford would they tell me the names of the two guys that built the engine? also arent some of the earlier 03 cobra racalled or have recalls on parts? not sure but i remember someone telling me that.
