Comp cams better than standard cams?

Just got my PI intake manifold and cams today. Turns out they are comp cams, is that better? Thanks

most likely they are better than the PI cams, do you know which comp cams they are?

What exactly did you buy? Comp cams are good, but certain ones require upgraded valve springs, gears, fly cut pistonsand a tune. Any idea which ones you got?

Hmm, they are just Comp Cams, from a company called Competition Cams in Memphis, TN.

Did you buy your parts used? Comp makes a couple different cams for our application. If they are aftermarket PI cams I do not beileve you can use them with your NPI engine, as you will have contact between the pistons and the valves.
