Went to the track last night for test and tune for the first time with this car. Kinda dissapointed, but I know I can get faster with a few little things...I need some tires that can hook! My 7 year old, worn out goodyears are not cutting it!! lol. Here are my times. I know, I know, my 60' is HORRIBLE! I need more traction.

First run:

Your 60' is actually alittle better than average for the stock crappy dookieyears. You ran pretty darn good for what you've got!

thanks guys for the input. I just wanted to at least run 14.50 or better. Hopefully with some stickier tires I can.

You sure got that car down the track good considering you have 4.10 gears.

Try a set of BFG Drag Radials or Nitto's and see what happens.

Those times are way different than mine. My 14.7's were in the 96-98 MPH range. And my 60's were 2.2-2.4. My 1/8 MPH is about 75-76 for a 14.7. Everything else is almost right on with my times. You'll get in the 14.3's like me soon enough.

Yeah 97, get rid of the crappyyears, not bad times so far, you'll get there. It took me awhile to. I ran a 13.6 on my crappyyears and now I'm running a 12.9 on BFG drag radial's, good tires.

Um, yeah... I was trapping at 92-93 w/ just a magnaflow catback and had 2.3 60' times w/ little-no spin. Oh and I was running "dangerously lean" and hot lapping. I hope w/ the X-pipe, densecharger, MAF... blah, blah.... I will be in the 14's.
