Default I need reviews (cutting stock springs)

For any of you that have cut the stock springs to lower the car, how do you like it? How is ride quality, etc.....I plan to get my springs cut to lower the car about 2" for looks. Any opinions? (I don't want to buy new springs and cutting the stockers is cheaper)

Thanks

if you want a 2" drop cut the springs 1 3/8" shorter. when you take coils out the springs become softer and compress easier.

I bought my car with the springs cut because the former owner was too cheap to do it the right way, If i could meet him once i would punch him in the face for doing something so stupid. Your ride is gonna be terrible, and I am willing to bet you that the rear will sit lower then the front.

Dont waste your time, buy new springs.

If you want to cut more than the deadcoil you will be changing the spring rate.
