Mid-Pipe Question

Mid-Pipe Question
I will eventually get LTs, but that will be a while. Right now I would love to get a pro-chamber because they sound awesome. If I bought one to fit the stock headers, when I switch to LT's, could I get an exhaust shop to shorten the mid-pipe and make the changes so it will fit the LT's? How much would this cost?

RE: Mid-Pipe Question
Im sure the shop could modify the pipe to fit LT's, but the problem will come in if you buy a off road mid pipe. Its against the law for a shop to even work on a car that doesnt meet emission requirements. The only work they can do to it will be to make it emission legal and the go from there. If you are getting a catted pipe, then you would most likely have to relocate the cats if you switch to the LT's.
My advice would be to save the money you would use on the prochamber now, and use it to buy a prochamber that will fit the LT's.
I wish I would have waited and bought LT's and a mid pipe to fit. [>:]

RE: Mid-Pipe Question
The thing that I wonder about is that my prochamber is 3 pieces. The front pipes, the chamber, and the back pipes. I know they sell catted and uncatted legs, but I've seen no mention of selling LT legs for it so that you could just swap out to an LT accomidating midpipe somewhere down the road. I think it'd be a smart move on their part if they'd do that.
