Default STEEDA TRI-AX

Well I finally got my Tri ax in today and installed it. It was pretty simple to install I must say. I am very happy with the way it shifts. It makes the car so much more fun to drive. The shifts are so crisp and quick, I was out tearing it up today for about 2 hours testing the new shifter. 2nd to 3rd is a breeze now. I love it!

The instuctions that come with it are really good. Just be careful of the metal piece where the internal shift boot is. I took a good size chunk out of my finger on it when I was puting it back on. That thing has some really sharp edges so be careful. Let me know how it goes and enjoy!

EJ23, be careful of the plastic piece on the bottom of the shifter when removing it because you have to reuse it.

Yes it is. The Tri-Ax is so smooth going into 3rd, especially going down the track.

The steeda tri-ax is awesome! The shifts are amazingly better, the only problem is the added noise and heat due to the loss of the stock rubber inner boot.

Ther is a gasket kit that you can buy that will eliminate a good deal of the noise. It also eliminates the need for RTV.
