Default Ugh...drone sucks

SO the drone has finally gotten to me. After having maybe 3 years of it, roughly 2 with the V6 i had flowmasters on it and it droned like a ***** () and now the MAC catback I have on now is just kinda getting to me. Do most straight-thru mufflers like the packs/stingers/slp lack drone? I was thinking about going with that new brand SSS because it doesnt sound like a super loud straight thru catback and yet hoping it keeps the drone to a minimum.

Yes straihgt through muffs do lack drone. Take your pick, they are all great. . I seriously dont notice a drone on my set up and its supposed to be notorious, but I dont recognize it. O well, I like it that way. :P

Or actually...is there a way to reduce the drone? Anything I can slip in the pipes or whatever. Because MAC just sounds so damn good

a chambered muffler will always make a V6 sound like ***. something like borla or magnaflow will sound a little better.

I can't shut up about how much I love my Borla + BBK combo. It's loud, it's mean, and I don't really notice a drone. Then again, I'm 16 and to me louder is better haha.

Yeah, or hit the ****in gas and get past the drone. Either that or shift and go at a lower RPM. With my Prochamber and Mac catback I drone at pretty much dead on 2000 RPMs. I dont mind it much, but if it's annoying or if I have somone with me, I either shift into the next gear, or speed up a little to get past the drone. 2500 RPMs is easily past it so it's not a big deal.
