Not So Good Times
Bought this 2000 mustang about 8 monthes ago for around 10 grand. Im a college student and so i dont have much money. I was hoping to pay this car off and make it into a nice street car with maybe a s/c and other add ons. I just had a set back. I got hit by a H3 hummer driven by some HS kid. Im only 19 and he wasnt much younger but he obviously has more money than i if he is driving a brand new hummer bought by his mom who drives a BMW m series of some sort.Any way, the bottom line is this pretty much sucks. Its in a ford body shop right now and they told me 5-10 days after they got the parts. I took it to them on a thursday morning. They didnt get the parts untill over a week later. i just talked to the guy from ford and he is telling me that i wont get it untill second week of febuary. That will make it over a month that they have had the car. The worst part is, my rental is a damn chevy cobalt.

That sucks man about the wrecked stang and the long duration of being repaired.Young kid like that just shouldn't being driving an Hummer and that he probably doesn't appreciate it like you appreciate your stang in the fact that you bought it.Is the Chevy Cobalt the supercharged SS?

Wow that sucks but at least the damage doesn't look too bad. New door and some paint...fairly simple stuff. It sucks that you won't have it for about a month though. I can't stay away too long from mine[8D]

dude i understang how you feel i work in a body shop and its a pain in the *** waiting for parts but god damn you got hit HARD im glad to hear your ok were you at fault or was he it is probably going to need more than just a door you probably have to have the pillar pulled the floor pulled and etc etc etc

Ouch I know the pain your in. I wrecked mine less than a month ago, hydroplaned in the rain. Glad your ok.
Just for the record they don't just "give out/rent" supercharged cobalts. They give out SS's but not the supercharged. Those are too nice/expensive. (stfu, they ARE nice)
