So a buddy of mine bought a 2002 z28...bone stock...and he's all about rubbin it it that he has a factory 310 hp versus my 260...I know I can't beat him in a race with my car in its current stock condition...so what can I doto at least keep up with him (beat him ????). Anyone??

you would need quite a bit, as any 2v does to beat a f-body consistently.

but doesn't the f-body weigh more than the mustang, like the one poster said, spend some money and you can get alittle closer to him in power/HP or go the the fast and fun way,, go Nitrous

Quick kill = 100 shot. Spend 500-700 bucks and just blow his doors off, just don't tell him about your nitrous kit for a little bit to mess with his head, haha.
