i looked for a previous thread, but couldn't find one so here goes... I installed a fenderwell intake and ive heard that the whistle sound that comes fron the intake isnt bad, but I want to know the truth behind. Is it bad? good? or just annoying some of the time? i kinda like it, but if its bad then lemme know. thanks

It's not bad. The velocity of the air creates the sound. Don't worry about it.

Mine was pretty loud when I first put it on. It's a little annoying, but it will eventually go away. I assume that dust and debris sort of silence it a bit as time goes on.

I've got this real bad whistling sound that comes from my car too.

For the life of me I don't know what it is! J/K!

That is normal, so I would not worry about it.

what brand is the intake my friend has a 96 gt its a bbk fender intake and it whistles like crazy

I have a very noisy alternator, and my densecharger didnt wistle till I P&P the throttle body

Yep, my densecharger had a very, very slight whistle. Now that I have a 70mm t/b, it is LOUD>>> SOunds like my car has a turbo...rofl
