Stroker kit on a 2v FTL!

Go big bore or just forget it. 2v cars simply DO NOT like being stroked. At least with the BB kit it unshrouds the valves a bit and picks up some decnent horspower AND midrange TQ.

Before you stroke, try to find someone that has. The 2v already has a very good ratio of stroke to bore... no reason to screw it up with a stroker kit that will yeild very little power.

you mise well get a 5 angle valve job for pennies more, and if your going to add a blower get stage 3 ported heads! I wouldn't waste your money on a stroker kit if you plan to go S/C also, I'm most positive your not suppose to break in your engine with a windage tray!

A windage tray is not for break ins they are for keeping the wind down the crank generates when turning. a 5 angle valve job is pointless a 3 angle valve job it good enough just my 2 cents

Everything that I have seen says that the stroker kits are definatly not the way to go.

I have seen absolutly NO evidence that an otherwise identical engine will make significantly more power with a stroker kit than without it. However, I have heard numerous complaints about RPM restriction, loss of power at certian points, lack or results, etc etc etc on stroking these engines.

You do realise you can make 600+ with the right blower setup and a stock displacement 2v (built engine) right? How much do you need? Your already talking about having $7000+ in the engine alone.

I have the same windage tray. Good stuff.

I was looking over on VTengines. ummmmm, the 4v 324ci race block sounds SICK. Hmm, anyone want a built 320rwhp 2v stroker? LOL
