MGW Shifter

RE: MGW Shifter
NO the install is NOT difficult, i would suggest doing a transmission fluid at the same time since you can pour it in when the shifter is off. the instructions given with the MGW is top notch so id suggest following those. Also if you have a tr3650 transmission REMOVE the shift stops before installation.
here are a few writeups i read before installing

RE: MGW Shifter
Hey JR, I just put my MGW on a few weeks ago.
I recommend CobraBob's shifter gaskets. http://www.stangshiftergaskets.com.
The install is very easy, and I recommend using the stops unless your tranny has the built in stops. Oh, and make sure you do it early in the day...I ended up puting the inner dust boot back on using a mag-light, lol. I never did a tranny fluid change, but some say to do it to soften up the shifter. It is very knotchy at first, but mines getting softer by the day.
