ORIGINAL: Eskine

ok i only got 4 runs in and that was the first and only time i went my first run i ran 15.9 second run i did 15.1 then my third was 14.8 then that was the end of test and tune. then last run was a bracket race and i went 14.5 but im having trouble uploadin the image its sayen its to big and i make as small as i can and still doesnt work need help quick
Well first you said low 14's....14.5 is mids. Anyway that's a great time for a stock 96. I guess I could expect high 13's[sm=smiley29.gif] I thought 13's would not be possible for my car as of now, but maybe I'm wrong. Were you on stock tires?

I dunno... some of them are crazy... I raced a 97 or something over the summer.. had 3.73 gears exhuast intake and UD's, He launched much better than i did... i passed him at the end of 2nd and continued walk him pretty good. I've been racing my friends 98 or 96 i forget gt.... all it has is cai. Its given me better races than the one wiht gears exhaust etc. Hell that SOB stayed with me till 1/2 way through 3rd gear.... he had about 1/3 car legnth of the start. Provided it was the first time i've driven in 2 weeks but the driving only woulda helped a car legnth at most. If you havent seen the vid.. in the vid section about 2 weeks ago.

Some just may be a hell of a lot better than others.

i got kelly chager r/t tires on the car they came with them and they were brand new when i got the car and i dont powershift the car either yea its mid 14s but i only got 4 runs in and it can do alittle better than that. my friend is got a 86 5.0 with just exhaust and his best run is 14.2 so far. but the funny thing is he has a 94 probe gt with some minor mods doing 14.9 every run

the only reason im goin fast is cause i get great launches off the line. i rev about 3-4g and pop the cluth half way out when it starts graben i let of the clutch out all the way. u just got to ride the clutch the right way but the tires never spin while doing this (kelly charger r/t tires spelled that wrong)
