Default suspension question

what is the easiest way to change out my rear springs. i really dont want to bring it to a garage and get screwed out of 70 bucks on a job that takes 30 min. cant you just unbolt the shock from the control arm, and slide the spring right out???

Default RE: suspension question

Easiest way not technically the best way. floorjack to pumpkin, unbolt shocks from rearend let it hang as low as it can go but keep it up enough for it not to be pulling. then you should be able to pop out the old ones and set in the new ones.
