RE: The 411 on the BULLITT
Copied from the Mustang source
The 2001 Mustang Bullitt GT was available in three colors: Black, the new True Blue, and Dark Highland Green, borrowed from Ford's F-Series lineup. There were 3041 green, 1818 black, and 723 blue Bullitts produced. Dark Highland Green was not available on any other Mustang. Exterior features included a blacked-out corral around the pony in the grille, red brake calipers with a silver Mustang, simpler side scoops, and a brushed aluminum fuel door. Spoilers and fog lamps weren't available on the Bullitt. 2001 Bullitt Mustangs had a retro interior theme. The new seats were designed after seats from the 1960s, and were much more comfortable than the standard seats. The numbers in the gauge cluster were written in a tall, thin font like in the 1960s as well. The shifter was aluminum and the door lock soldiers were silver, as was the shifter trim ring. The Bullitts had a different intake than the GT they were based upon, and the upgrades resulted in an additional five horsepower. The C-pillars were also altered, and "BULLITT" was engraved on the sill plates. Although Ford planned to produced 6500 Bullitts, only 5582 made it off the line.

RE: The 411 on the BULLITT
Thanks for all the imput. I will let you know short of a Throttle body plans in the next two weeks are this, headers, mid-pipe, cat-back exhaust, and CAI. A short throw shifter will also be on order with that stuff. What do you guys recommend as far as the short throw shifter goes? I have a friend with an 03 GT and he has the hurst and I don't really care for that one, I drove it 3 times on the track and missed 3rd three times. Was debateing between the pro 5.0 shifter and the triax shifter. As far as pics go... I hope it will quit raining around here long enough for me to wash & wax it to take pics. This is only my 4th day with the car. It is the highlander green model and it's #632 (have to check the sticker again to make sure) off the line.

RE: The 411 on the BULLITT
Dear God please not another thread pointing out and debating the differences between a GT and a Bullitt. Bullitts are slightly more awesome than GT's...end of story[sm=closed.gif]
Now post some pics of the new ride [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
