Default Serpentine Belt

The other day my serpentine belt broke and by the time I parked my 97 GT 4.6 was smoking like crazy. I changed the belt and and filled the coolant but the car smoked a little on my way home. After 2 days the smoking stopped but I keep smelling antifreeze after driving for a while. I don not see a leak anywear and the temperature guage shows no sign of overheating. Just wondering if anyone knows what is going on?

What color was the smoke and did it smell like antifreeze? The gauges in are cars arent really accurate all the time, to get an accurate oil , temp reading etc you need an aftermarket mech or elec gauge.....so it may be overheating but you would be able to tell from way it drives sounds etc.

The smoke was white and it smelled like antifreeze, but the smoke is gone only the smell of antifeeze is present after driving for a long period. I can not find a leak and only smell it outside the car. The car seems to have lost a little power but it could just be my imagination. It drives fine just didn't know there is something else I should check or do.

Thanks
