I got a 97' 4.6L and I want to put some gears on it. What all do I need to aid in installing the 3.73's? I've got the drive train 3.73's for the 8.8 rear end. Do I need a new set of pinion and carrier shims, ring bolts, gaskets, sleeves? Is there a kit out there I can buy? What should I expect when I install it and what do I need?

a gear kit comes with all you need other that to correct your speedo, and you can do that with either a speedcal or a chip (I don't think you have a speedo gear that year but you might I cant remember)

the gears should come with everything the only thing that u will need is a chip to correct ur speedo
