Default 99 GT Stalling

Hey,
I am not sure if the problem is a continuation on the last issue or not, but it seems more may be at work.
In a nutshell, a few days ago, the car tried to crank once and that was it. Was recommended to try charging the battery and did so. It was tough to crank, but it did. Drove it around for about 10 minutes, no problem. Drove it later in the day for about 20 miles, no problems.
Next day, drove it 10 miles, when I popped it into Neutral to slow for a turn and the engine was stopped. No shake, just off (I assume because it was in neutral). The turn indicator was still blinking without missing a beat. Cranked right back up. Did it again about 2 miles later under same stopping conditions (in neutral). Fired right up again. I plugged in a "Car Chip" in case any codes would kick out, but it found nothing and the battery voltage was steady around 13.8.
I did notice a high whine that would come into range as I went into 2nd gear thru 3rd. It would increase in pitch until I shifted, then start and go higher. After it was too much noise and too high to hear I suppose. I have not heard this whine before.
Any thought would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again!

Andy
