i made mine functional. took off the scoop. drilled out every hole. got a drill and cut out the hole at the back of the scoop goes on the hood. about 10 - 12 inches wide. cut a hole in the mesh or what ever you wanna call it and bolted it all to gether. i dont get watter dripping down the hood anymore. its nice. oh and i wouldnt recomend just taking the honeycomb out bc ifyou do that with out drilling holes in the back of the hood. it may fly off when your at the track or freeway because it has no where to force all that air that the scoop is collecting.

Does it come out, or is it attached to the scoop? I don't like the looks of it since I got my grill delete put in, the honeycomb seems out of place.
aren't you a cop? frame the honeycomb for murder unless it disappears.

I dont like the hoods. period ive already been lookin at some new ones. they probably slow your car down not enough to notice but still. My scoop will probably end up ripping off. It shakes like crazy when i go fast. ive heard of a few that already have. Imagine haulin azz on the interstate and that sucker fly off i'd sh** myself

How about one of these inserts? I think it will look alot better than the honeycomb. Even better cause you can paint it any color. Click link.....
