Painting Carbon Fiber Hoods

RE: Painting Carbon Fiber Hoods
It looksgood on some dark colored cars. Like Hyper00 pulls it off. If its black leave it bare when you first put it on and if you dont like it paint it. If your worried about having a "rice look" then just get a fiberglass hood. They both have less wight than stock so you really have nothing to loose but money.

you'd basically have a charcoal looking hood compared to a jet black car, that's how my carbon fiber hood looks like(charcoal color i mean), i really like it personally but as the other guy up there said, to each their own.

I think, on mustangs, carbon fiber is ok unpaited only on black cars. They had an '01 Cobra around here for sale for a month, it was black. I drove about 15 feet away from the car everyday for a month. After driving by it for a few weeks, looking at it everyday, I noticed it had a carbon fiber hood! It's not that noticeable on black as a pedestrian, but when you are standing around looking at it, you can see it and it looks pretty good, IMO.

it depends on your taste. i know that i prefer the car to look all one color but if you are putting in on a black car it would close enough that i might look good, but i have also seen them on green cars and they look like complete sh*t. BUT again its your preference
