Hey way, How are you going to give all metric numbers then pull a MPG out of the hat.... You just tryin to confuse people? Anyway, the rebuild was done "about" 4,300 miles ago and your only getting 155 miles to a tank?
Other than that, to answer your question. Did you rebuild the motor with stock size rings?Increase the C:R? Proper break in? Have you gotten the car tuned? Is there anything wrong with your trans? How steep do you keep your foot into the pedal? What do your S plugs look like? O2 Sensor? A ton of things could be affecting mpg. If you haven't already do the basics, change the plugs, filter, and either get a AF mixture reader or get the car Dyno tuned and have the tuner readjust your fuel curve....

RE: BAD MPG?????????
basicly, if you just start your car and drive it short distances like in the city, yes you probably will get 12 mpg. During warm up when the computer is on "open loop" you run very rich. The ratings for cars is at operating temperature which for a mustang is about 210 degrees. I have a 160 degree thermistat and i know thats ther reason i get poor milage. I think the reason you get poor milage is because you car is not getting fully warmed up and it never gets to running temperature often.
your computer runs rich until the engine temp reachs 165 degree and then if all is well and the computer is getting good readings it goes into "closed loop" and uses the 02 sensors. 02 sensors are completely useless until your car is warmed up!
Also, if you shift at 1800 rpm, you will be at maximum efficency. if you are on the highway, maximum fuel milage is at that rpm.

Also, an engine will get better Gas milage as the engine is really broken in..... If there are no other problems it should increase in a couple of months...
