My car thinks it an auto...
Ok so im in like 5th gear at 2,000RPM and then i floor it. the rpms jump to like 4,000 and then back to like 2,300... im guessing its the TPS or IAC.. what do you think it is? Its like the car thinks its an automatic and downshifts... then upshifts... i dont get it. I doubt the clutch is slipping because ive got like 700miles on a spec stage 1 with aluminum fly.

**** yea the clutch is slippin! unless you are breaking the wheels loose in 5th at low rpms (LOL). you shouldnt be abusing the clutch with less than 500 miles on it. and there is a VERY good chance the clutch isnt adjusted correctly. get that fixed before you have to buy another clutch!

hmm... i figured the throttle position sensor was messed up... i might have to call the shop tomorrow
yes i went easy on the clutch for 500 miles the shop said i only had to go easy on it for like 300 cuz its a stage 1 but i went to 500.. weird thing is, is it only slips when i slam the throttle.

ok, but we are asking, does the engine actually rev, or does the tach just move? because if it is reving....and your not accelerating then its slipping and that will mess it very quickly

from what i can tell.. the tach is just moving. im gonna try what paul suggested if that doesnt fix it then im gonna take it back to the shop and have them look at it. thanks for the help guys + quick responses.
