Tranny problems HELP!
i was driving home today and i noticed that my shifter was sliding out of gear with extreme ease without pushing in the clutch. I don't know if this is normal but i do know that it have never happened before and i don't know what i should do about it.

When the engine is not producing power,the transmission will slide out of gear quite easily.Just think about when you are in the car with the engine shut off,you can go through the gears without using the clutch at all.No worries.

At no point with the car moving or not moving, should the shifter simply come out of gear with no input from you.
If it only does it one time it is probably not a problem, but if it contiues I would check the shifter. If the problem persists you may need to adjust it slightly.
