Tuner Question

I am thinking of getting a handheld tuner for my 2002 GT that is an automatic. The car is stock with no modifications. My questionsare what kind of performance can I expect with the tuner with no modifications at this time and which tuner is the best one for my car. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

RE: Tuner Question

wait till you get some mods, the SCT xcal2 is probably the most popular but you should check with your local tuner to see what software they use.

RE: Tuner Question

Hey, yeah deff wait till you get a few mods such as plenum, t/b, intake, or catback. I found a diablo tuner which is popular for the area i live in however the sct xcal2 i hear is the best, i gound a diablo for 300 bucks when retail is 400. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Diabl...84020404QQrdZ1. Go there. When i installed mine, i had these mods:
-BBK Long Tube Headers
-BBK X-pipe
-Magnaflow Catback
-BBK 75mm Throttle body
-C&L 75mm Inlet Plenum

When i installed it. When i reach 3grand it felt liek i hit a powerband. I highly reccomend this tuner!

RE: Tuner Question

I`m happy with my predatore. If you have a lot of mods planned for future, you might want to wait to make a choice.
